  1. Take Hwy 71 East out of Austin all the way to La Grange. You will go through Bastrop, Smithville and then La Grange.
  2. In La Grange take the Hwy 159/237 exit, and go left under the overpass. (The intersection corners are land-marked by Diggs Real Estate, Exxon, and Whataburger).
  3. Stay on Hwy 159 for approximately 7 miles, going through the community of Rutersville.
  4. Approximately 1 ½ miles past Rutersville, turn left on FM 2981. (While on Hwy 159, if you go as far as Oldenburg you have gone too far by about 2 miles.)
  5. On FM 2981 go approximately 8 tenths of a mile and turn left at the set of 4 mail boxes with our address on the mail box (8235). Our gravel road is to the left of a post with our address (8235) on it.
  6. Follow the gravel road into the woods and The Cottage will be on the right. The key to The Cottage will be in the door.
